Who is entitled to the real cost subsidy?
All participants who are entitled to a travel grant in accordance with the program guidelines are eligible, i.e:
- University staff
- Students and graduates on a short-term blended mobility program
- Students and graduates from Germany in partner countries (apart from regions 13 and 14)
What does the real cost grant cover?
If the travel grant does not cover at least 70% of the real travel costs for sustainable travel according to the distance category, participants can be reimbursed 80% of the real costs for sustainable travel.
The application must be justified by the applicant and approved by the national agency.
