The majority of our degree programs are taught in German. However, we also have some courses that are partly taught in English. It is therefore very important that you have sufficient language skills at the beginning of the semester. For both the German and the English-language degree programs, you need a minimum language level of B2 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
The Clausthal University of Technology Language Center offers intensive German language courses, sometimes in cooperation with partners. During the semester, you can attend study-related courses and improve your German language skills. The Language Center also offers a variety of other languages.
