Participation requirements

The Erasmus+ program is the successor to the LLP/ERASMUS program. Compared to a free application to a European partner university, the Erasmus+ program offers many advantages (e.g. exemption from tuition fees at the partner university).

Prerequisites for participation in the Erasmus+ program are

  • Enrollment at the TU Clausthal
  • Participation in a detailed consultation for the study abroad program
  • At least in the third semester of a Bachelor's degree, at least in the second semester of a Master's or doctoral degree
  • Grade point average (unweighted) of 2.4
  • At least 20 credits per semester earned at TU Clausthal
  • Sufficient knowledge of the teaching language at the partner university (varies depending on the partner university, but at least B2)

Please note:

  • Students must remain enrolled at Clausthal University of Technology during their stay abroad.
  • The Clausthal International Center (IZC) is responsible for selecting students for a study abroad period and awarding a mobility grant.
