The courses offered during your studies include the following areas:
- General German courses at levels A1 to C1 for LLP/ERASMUS students and visiting academics
- Different German every week
Topics: Films, grammar, regional studies, literature, listening comprehension, pronunciation, writing
Participation requirements
All students and employees of the university can take part in our German courses free of charge. If you are not enrolled here, you can pay a small fee to obtain a guest certificate and also take part in the courses.
Placement test
If you have not yet attended a German course at TU Clausthal, it is recommended that you take a placement test. participation in a placement test (exception: beginners with no previous knowledge). The placement test takes place on the 1st Wednesday of each semester at 10:00 a.m. (registration via StudIP on the Internet).
Registration procedure
Once the results of the placement test have been announced, you can register for the relevant course via StudIP.
