Benefits

Erasmus+ is the EU's most successful education program and part of the Long Life Learning Program (LLP). Erasmus+ gives students the opportunity to study in another European country and expand their social and cultural skills. They get to know the academic system of a foreign university and benefit from its teaching and learning methods. Erasmus+ offers many advantages over an open application to a European university.

  • Study abroad for 2-12 months at a partner university of Clausthal University of Technology (possibly also to write a Bachelor's or Master's thesis)
  • Simplified admission procedure at the partner university
  • Exemption from tuition fees at the host university
  • General recognition of academic achievements abroad
  • Payment of a mobility grant
  • Support in preparing for the stay abroad from both the International Center and the partner institution with regard to application, enrolment, accommodation, cultural activities, etc.
  • For disabled students, special funds are available to a limited extent for the additional costs incurred abroad (further information).
