Enrollment

The documents for enrollment must be submitted in person in room 16 (Mon. to Fri. 9:30 - 12:00) at Graupenstraße 11 in the IZC.

Matriculation procedure

  1. Application for enrollment in the applicant portal(see deadline in the letter of admission).
  2. Sign the application for enrollment and the RZ application (download in the applicant portal).
  3. The following documents are required:
  • Application for enrollment and RZ application in the application portal fill out
  • Current proof of a statutory health insurance for enrollment at the university. (A copy of your health insurance card is not sufficient!) Please ask your health insurance company for the relevant document.
  • Proof that you have fulfilled the health insurance obligation (i.e. you have paid at least one month's health insurance contribution)
  • 1 passport photo
  • A copy of your passport
  • Proof of transfer of the paid tuition fee

If you were already enrolled at a university in Germany:

  • Certificate of exmatriculation,
  • Certificates of examinations already passed

Payment of the semester fee

Please transfer the current tuition fee to the following account: Sparkasse Hildesheim Goslar Peine, recipient: Clausthal University of Technology in 38678 Clausthal-Zellerfeld. IBAN: DE59259501300000008359, SWIFT-BIC: NOLADE21HIK . You can find the amount of the tuition fee here here.

In addition to your full name (according to your passport), please be sure to state your applicant number as the reason for payment.

In order to be enrolled properly and, above all, on time, the money must be received in the TU Clausthal account before the enrollment deadline! Please allow approx. 5-7 days for the transfer of the money!

As soon as your documents are complete at the IZC, we will forward them to the Registrar's Office. The enrollment will be processed there. This chip card serves as an access card for the canteen and the university library.
