Room takeover

On the day of arrival, report to the Service Center of the Studentenwerk or directly to your landlord. There you will receive your rental contract, the keys to your accommodation and important information. Bear in mind that you may also have to provide bedding, crockery, room furnishings, etc. The Studentenwerk offers a special service package for this.

If you live in private accommodation: contact your water, electricity and gas supplier (e.g. Harzenergie), where you must register as a new consumer. If you live in one of the student residences, the residence administration will take care of this for you.
