TestDaF exam

TU Clausthal is a licensed test center for TestDaF.

We offer TestDaF exams on the following dates in 2026:

To prepare for TestDaF, an introduction to the test technique is offered on request approx. 2 weeks before the exam.

Registration

You can register online for the corresponding exam. A few days after the registration deadline, you will receive an admission letter with "Rules for the exam day" to download from the participant portal. The rules contain important information for taking the exam. The admission letter must be signed and brought to the examination date.

A valid passport or ID is required for registration.

Please note: The number of places is limited. Therefore, we cannot guarantee you a place, even if you contact us within the registration deadline.

Participation requirements

A fee of 215 euros must be paid to the account of the TestDaF Institute for the exam.

A good knowledge of German is recommended (800-1000 hours of German lessons).

Deregistration

Participants who are unable to keep the examination date can cancel their registration up to the registration deadline. Deregistration must be made in writing to the TestDaF Institute in Bochum (info@testdaf.de). Information on deregistration can be found in the Participant Portal.
