Japanese Language and Culture Program. An online course of Kanagawa University
Are you interested in Japanese culture and would you like to get to know the Japanese language? Then take the opportunity to take part in the Japanese Language and Culture Program at our partner university Kanagawa University online. This will take place from January 31 to February 21, 2023 and we can even offer three places on the course free of charge! More details here.
Our Japanese partner university Kanagawa University in Yokohama offers you as a TU Clausthal student the opportunity to participate in a two-week online seminar on Japanese language and culture. The course is aimed at beginners and normally costs 52,000 yen (approx. 422 euros). However, participation is free of charge for three TU Clausthal students.
You can find out more about the offer on a poster and a brochure. When looking at the weekly schedule in the brochure, please note that Japan is eight hours ahead of the Central European time zone. If you have any questions, please contact Markus Heidemann, Student Advisor for Outgoing Mobility (markus.heidemann@tu-clausthal.de; Phone: +49 5323/72-5025).
If you are interested in the online course, please send a binding expression of interest by November 15, 2022 to Markus Heidemann from the IZC by e-mail (markus.heidemann@tu-clausthal.de). Please state your matriculation number in the letter, explain your interest and motivation for this online course and attach a current transcript of records to the e-mail. The IZC will then send a letter of nomination to Kanagawa University.
If there are more than three applicants interested in participating free of charge, IZC must make a selection based on the current unweighted grade point average.
