Dear students,
On 26.04.2024, the IZC is once again organizing an excursion to the Airbus company in Hamburg.
The city of Hamburg, the headquarters of Airbus Commercial in Germany and the largest German Airbus site, plays a central role in the development and production of all Airbus aircraft. This makes Hamburg the third largest civil aviation location in the world.
The employees in Hamburg are of central importance for the Airbus programs. They are responsible for structural assembly, equipping the fuselage sections, final assembly and the entire program management of the A320 family.
Around half of all A320 family jets produced each year come from Finkenwerder.

The €15 participation fee includes the bus transfer and the guided tour of the plant. The excursion starts at 08:00 in the morning and we will be back around 18:30.
Registration is still open until 08.04.2024, Mon. to Thurs. between 10-12 am and 1-14:30 pm (in person), room 17, isa@tu-clausthal.de at the International Center.

Dear students,
on April 26th, 2024 the IZC is organizing an excursion to the Airbus factory in Hamburg.
Hamburg - the headquarters for Airbus Commercial Aircraft activities in Germany, and the biggest Airbus location in Germany - plays a central role in the development and manufacturing of all Airbus jetliners. This makes the Airbus operation adjacent at Hamburg-Finkenwerder Airport the third-largest site in the civil aviation industry worldwide.
Employees at Hamburg are central to Airbus programs. They handle structural assembly; the equipping of fuselage sections; final assembly, and also oversee the entire A320 jetliner family's program management.
The Hamburg-Finkenwerder industrial facility is responsible for more than half of Airbus' annual A320 Family output.
