EFR Future Scholarships - Green hydrogen

Dear students,

With the new scholarship program "EFR Future Scholarships - Green Hydrogen" of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the DAAD supports research on green hydrogen.

The new program combines three funding opportunities for science:

• In the program, German students and scientists have the opportunity to go abroad for studies, internships or research stays.
• It offers international scientists scholarships for studies, internships or research stays on green hydrogen at German universities and non-university research institutions.
• And by setting up four working groups, the DAAD is promoting networking between scholarship holders and DAAD alumni, other researchers and experts from industry.

The program is aimed at Master's students, doctoral candidates and postdocs who are interested in hydrogen research and is open to all scientific disciplines.

The program is not only designed for the natural and engineering sciences, but also for the humanities, social sciences and law, as socio-economic, ethical, legal and ecological issues relating to hydrogen will also be addressed.

Application deadlines:

• PhD and PostDoc applications can be submitted at any time .
• Master students can apply until October 19, 2023 for a stay abroad from April 2024 (summer semester).

Online information events will be held on September 19 and 28, 2023 to provide information on funding opportunities abroad for graduates, doctoral candidates and doctoral candidates from Germany and to answer questions about the GH2 scholarship program.
