The Language Center of the International Center Clausthal (ICC) offers a wide range of language courses at different levels.

Welcome to the International Center Clausthal

Under the umbrella of the International Center (IZC), the International Office and the Language Center of the TU Clausthal work together on the internationalization of studies and teaching.

We are responsible for the international cooperation of the TU Clausthal and in this context we take care of delegations, represent the university at international fairs and events and further expand the network of partnerships. We are responsible for the language courses offered and continue to develop the program with regard to the growing demand for additional language qualifications. In addition, the IZC advises the Presidential Board of TU Clausthal on internationalization issues.

Liebe Studierende,

wir freuen uns, euch mitteilen zu können, dass am 21. Juni 2025 das Internationale Zentrum (IZC) erneut eine spannende Exkursion zur Tropfsteinhöhle Hermannshöhle und zur beeindruckenden TITAN Hängebrücke an der Luftseite der Staumauer der Rappbodetalsperre organisiert.

Nach dem Besuch der beeindruckenden Hermannshöhle habt ihr die Möglichkeit, die gigantische TITAN Hängebrücke zu überqueren und die atemberaubende Aussicht über das Tal zu genießen. Anschließend steht euch die Freizeit in Wernigerode zur Verfügung, um die charmante Stadt zu erkunden oder ein gemütliches Mittagessen einzunehmen.

Die Exkursion startet um 08:00 Uhr vor der Mensa, die Kosten betragen 15,- Euro, und in der Teilnahmegebühr sind der Bustransfer von und nach Clausthal-Zellerfeld, der Eintritt zur Tropfsteinhöhle, der Eintritt zur Hängebrücke.

Die Anmeldung ist noch bis zum 13.06.2025, Mo. bis Do. zwischen 10–12 Uhr und 13–14:30 (persönlich), Raum 17 im Internationalen Zentrum möglich.

Dear Students,

We are pleased to announce that on June 21, 2025, the International Center (IZC) will once again organize an exciting excursion to the Hermann Cave and the impressive TITAN Suspension Bridge at the air side of the Rappbode Dam.

After visiting the remarkable Hermann Cave, you will have the opportunity to cross the giant TITAN Suspension Bridge and enjoy the breathtaking views over the valley. You will then have free time in Wernigerode to explore the charming town or enjoy a leisurely lunch.

The excursion will start at 8:00 AM in front of the cafeteria. The cost is €15, which includes bus transportation to and from Clausthal-Zellerfeld, entrance to the cave, and entrance to the suspension bridge.

Registration is open until June 13, 2025, Monday to Thursday from 10 AM to 12 PM and from 1 PM to 2:30 PM (in person) in Room 17 at the International Center.
